We are a market and public opinion research firm founded in 1995. The company is the result of an association between Robert Worcester (MORI, UK), Equipos Uruguay and María Braun. At present, it is owned exclusively by María Braun. |

What we do
Our mission is to generate information and provide knowledge to support decision-making processes. Our clients are fast-moving consumer goods companies and service providers, as well as multilateral agencies and organizations and social and political institutions. For over a decade we have participated in several of the most important and prestigious international public opinion studies, such as Latinobarómetro and LAPOP, among others. |
How we do it
Our work team has a sound technical background, it is highly experienced and made up by multidisciplinary profiles. We are subscribed to and actively participate in the most important institutions linked to the development of the activity: ESOMAR, SAIMO and WAPOR. We are responsible for the creation of WAPOR Latinoamérica and the journal Revista Latinoamericana de Opinión Pública. |
The callenge of collecting data in times of pandemic
The pandemic has posed the need to apply online data collection techniques without undermining home sample coverage levels, their probabilistic nature and methodological rigor. To meet such challenge, we specially trained our interviewer teams, implemented randomized land and mobile lines selection techniques (sampling frames are generated considering ENACOM’s classification) and adapted complex questionnaires to the telephone interview modality. At present we have the capability to conduct over 2000 telephone interviews per month, with questionnaires that are up to 25/30 minutes long.

Impact Assessment
These studies are designed to measure the effects of a specific project or program, quantifying and evaluating their costs and benefits. To this end, the controlled experiment technique is used, among others.

Technique used to identify, characterize and classify key players of a particular field or area of interest. Used to analyze the influence and relationships between players and establish their relevance within a network.

Congnitive Interviews
This tool is systematically used for questionnaire design. Cognitive interviews allow evaluating question understanding, validity and reliability.
